Camara raw freezes Photoshop

Everytime i try to open camara raw in photoshop the app freezes and i have to end the program in the task manager.
it does not matter what file type i use. i went to the camara raw>preferences>performance it shows the GPU rtx 3080 & that ¨your system automatically supports full acceleation¨ but anyway i tryed to change the camara raw charge size and also swiched on and of the use of my graphic processor and tryed every custom setting there but it did not help.
my guess would be that camara raw app is somehow broke but in the crative cloud interface is no option for deinstall od no option at all.
i use:
windows 11
the latest camaraw raw version 15.1.0.1329
the latest photoshop version 24.1.0
my graphic drivers (nvidia & intel) are all up to date
and my laptop uses a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU, 16GB RAM, i7-11800H
please help 🫠🥹

Please try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps described here:
Preferences in Photoshop (adobe.com)
Please backup your settings before resetting the preferences. You can check:
Migrate presets, actions, and settings (adobe.com)
If this doesn't help I would suggest a reinstallation of Photoshop.

I would suggest a complete and clean reinstallation.
Please follow the steps below:
- backup all personal data, like templates, presets etc.
- uninstall everything cc including preferences, Uninstall or remove Adobe Creative Cloud apps
- then uninstall the cc desktop app, Uninstall the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application
- clean your computer of cc files per Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool to solve installation problems (adobe.com)
- restart your computer (don't skip this)
- reinstall the cc desktop app,https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/using/download-creative-cloud-apps.html
- use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials
- restore your personal data.
If you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 4 here
Adobe Creative Cloud, needed to resolve this problem, is missing or damaged )

Are you opening files directly from Windows Explorer or opening them from Bridge?

You might also try disabling GPU in your Adobe Camera Raw preferences and let us know if there's a crash.

ok axel now i did all that, step by step ..even deleted all the files in here C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\ too ..still the same, camara raw freezes the program (well technically in the task manager it is not showing as ¨the program is not responding¨, but no matter where i click inside of photoshop, there is just this BING noise and you can see, in the task manager, that the program isnt doing anything, no cpu activity at all and nothing is responding anymore. so i have to kill the process).

hi thedigitaldog ..yes in my 1. coment i mention that i tryed to do so.. but no difference there ..i can only asume that the problem is not the gpu but somehow the camara raw program, inside photoshop itself. This is all very strange because 2 days ago, i worked like on 50 files just fine and then later this same day i tryed a .jpg file that i got from google images and it did not work anymore.

What has been changed on your system (installing updates, patches etc.) before the error occur?
Please post your system info. In Photoshop goto "Help > System Info". In the System Info dialog click on "Copy" and paste it into your next forum post.

Still another thought. Please create a new user account with Admin rights in Windows. Install Photoshop under this account and check. It's possible that your Windows user profile has a fault.
