Camera Raw 10.5 does not install in CS6

Running CS6.2, Adobe Photoshop Version: 13.0 (13.0 20120315.r.428 2012/03/15:21:00:00) x64.

The PC is running Windows 10 Home, 22H2, OS build 19045.2364.

I need to install Camera Raw 10.5. It seems to install ok but when I restart PS it says I am still running RAW 9.1.1.461. I get no errors when I run the installer which I did twice. I also rebooted the PC but it made no difference.

Any idea as to how I can install it?

I believe it is not possible! Best you can do is install ACR v9.1.1

If you need a higher version (eg. for a camera) you may need to used the free Adobe DNG Converter.

I poked around a lot more and you may be correct;

Photoshop CS6 (May 7, 2012), (the page is dated Nov 18, 2022).

The most current update of Adobe Camera Raw for Photoshop CS6 is 9.1.1.

Sadly I need ACR 9.9 for my Fuji X100f and my X-T2 needs ACR 9.6. So I may need to use the DNG converter.

I also use LR 6.14 and it has a DNG converter built in. I just tried it and it does work.

Yes, Lightroom (perpetual) v6.14 will read the raw files from both your cameras.

You should not need to use the DNG conversion option in Lightroom, as Lr can [Edit in] Adobe Photoshop, but you will see an error message "Mismatched ACR Version" where you will [Open anyway].
