Camera raw 16 but not really?

So my creative cloud says my camera raw was updated to version 16.0 12 days ago.  I'm just curious as to why, when I open an image in camera raw, under settings it says "camera raw version 15.5.1.1597?  I mean, it's a nerdy question but wouldn't version 16 show up as version 16?

What version of macOS do you have?
