Camera Raw malfunction

Eacxh time I attempt to edit a photo using the Camera Raw filter "Create New Mask" function, the "move:" tool becomes active and moves my photo around the screen preventing me from using any of the "Create New Mask"Functions.I am using Photoshop 26.3.0 running on MacOS Sequoia 15.3.1.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.,

Hey, @ronc13390798. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. We'll need more info to help you figure this out. Please share the system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > upload & attach here

In Photoshop, press & hold the CMD + OPT key, go to Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw Preferences, and select 'Yes' when prompted to reset Camera Raw preferences. 

After this, restart Photoshop & check if the issue exists.
