i try updating a cople apps today but the cloud keep telling me to stop or turn of active procesing but i don't have anything active or on the apps at all. so i am turning to this comuty to help me so i can update my apps as soon as possible please and thank you

Which specific apps are stuck while updating? On macOS, you can use the Activity Monitor to end any app-specific processes in the background. Also, a simple restart may help clear the list of background activity.
