I imported several Sky Presets from my Mac into Photoshop. Can I now delete the files on my Mac?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.

Hi @crshlagor check your folder
Macintosh HD > Users > Your name > Library > Preferences > Adobe Photoshop 2023 settings > Sky presets

I don't have a "Library" subfolder in the "users/cshlagor" folder. I have a "Library" folder in the Macintosh HD folder but it does not contain Adobe Photoshop 2023 settings. Assuming I can find the Adobe Photoshop 2023 setting somewhere, how does that answer the questions as to whether I can delete the "Sky Presets" once I have uploaded them into Photoshop?

Hi @crshlagor you can access the Library (hidden by Mac OS) by going to Finder Go Menu, then holding the Option key.

okay, I found the Library in the Go Menu but it's the same Library I mentioned below in the Macintosh HD folder, not the Users folder. It does not have any Adobe Photoshop 2023 settings/Sky Presets folder. Even if it did, the question I originally asked remains: Can I delete the Sky Presets (or any other Preset for that matter) from my Mac once I have uploaded them to Photoshop (or Lightroom)?

Hi @crshlagor at this point it's a test and see. The whole point of viewing that folder was to confirm the resources were indeed copied into the proper location. Remove one and see what happens, you'll have your answer.
