I am using Photoshop version 25.0.0 and work with layers and smart objects extensively. Lately, and I'm not sure when this started, when I go back and attempt to change any filters listed in the Smart Object, the image will become over saturated and the colors will be off. this happens no matter what I do, but mostly with the Camera Raw filter.  I can't even reduce the size to show examples in here without it changing everything.  I I had to do screen shots to show thedifference.
Image is a scanned negative, scanned in at 4000 ppi, 0.6"x 0.8", 16 bit and ssaved as a PSD file.
Image I'm working on has been enlarged to 16"x 20" 360 ppi and left at the 16bit. All saves are PSD.
First image is the adjusted image, second is what it looks like after adjusting the Hue and Saturation filter.
