Can’t change type size

Community Beginner ,

Can't change the font size, and as I work a lot with fonts, Photoshop has become useless to me. Uninstalled and looking for a stable alternative. Versions 25.0.0 and 25.1.0 updates have been the buggiest in a long time.

Adobe, please concentrate less on adding gimmicky filters, and more on creating a more stable product.
