I recently got a Mac Pro M3 for work and I'm trying to get my environment setup. I cant seem to drag an image from a website and drop it into photoshop to make a new tab. The images from the website are jpeg because its my company's website.

I was able to do this on my Windows machine that I upgraded from.

I am the Admin of this laptop. Photoshop and Creative Cloud have full disk access. I was using 25.5 but switched to 24.7 thinking a rollback might fix it but here I am. I do have multiple monitors (not sure if that's relevant).

Is there a setting in Photoshop that would be preventing this functionality?

@ryanv24853113 there is no setting in PS to fix this. On the Mac, you need to be sure you are on the actual image file source (open image in new tab/window) with an extension. You can't drag directly from say a Google search result in Mac OS.
