I can't load any .mov files to a timeline. I keep getting the error message "This file could not be opened." Running on Windows 11 OS.

@john_4805 When I do a quicktime recording it saves as a 'MOV' file. The file is quite big when I do recording on my students assignments or for here in the community. I use Handbrake which is an open-source video transcoder that allows you to convert video files from one format to another. I convert my file into a MP4 and the file size is much smaller.
For example, I just finished a small recording for someone else in this community and that record. The file size was 65 MB. I used Handbrake it saved to 3.5MB! Huge saving of space!
