Can't load .mov in Photoshop on Mac

I like to make gifs on photoshop, and a method I've often used is screen recording something on my Macbook using Quicktime, which automatically saves as .mov, and then using that video to make the gifs. It's a tried and true method I've used many times before, but recently while I was in the middle of making gifs, Photoshop decided to just stop loading the file all the way. It gets to a certain point and won't load anymore past it on any video I try to open. I haven't done anything differently. I've updated my program to see if that would help but the bug is still occurring. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I have Photoshop 2022 23.5.1

Does it work correctly? 

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back. 

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thank you for your sysinfo @Isabel239725499scw it appears you do not have enough RAM for Ps.

Memory available to Photoshop: 5186 MB - Ps requires 8gb alone to operate and this does not include what the computer's OS needs or other apps that might be runing:

It might be possible to revert to an older version of Ps that will work for your system:

Would clearing up storage space fix that? I've been using Photoshop on this computer for months now with no problem and this just occurred last week.

Many factors can be at play, it is hard to tell. IF you shut down all apps and only had Ps running, maybe?  Again, if things worked for you in the past, the best thing would be to roll back to a stable version that ran on your computer.
