I cannot inport .mov or .mp4 files on photoshop and cannot find 'import video frames to layers' option.

I just downloaded photoshop today and I tried to fix it but didn't change at all

If someone know how to fix it or having same issue, please reply.

What happens if you drag a video file from your desktop into Photoshop? Will it open?

I'm not sure why this is happening and I can't replicate the issue on my computer and software. This might be a bug. You can report a bug here http://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

I have the same exact issue, although that "already installed quicktime player" got me thinking: do I have to install it in photoshop?

Because it is by default installed on a Mac.
