While installing Photoshop on my new Surface Pro 11, the following message appeared: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application." What should I do to install the program?

Hey, @Gerrand30953532bhhv. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll help you figure this out. The error is associated with dependencies related to Microsoft Visual Studio.

Please try these steps & let me know how it goes.

  •  In the Creative Cloud app, press CTRL + ALT + T (Win) to launch Creative Cloud Troubleshooter & select 'Close Creative Cloud and related processes' > click on Go.
  • Go to 'Add or Remove programs' in Windows search & find all the installations of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (all years).

  • Uninstall them completely. Even if there is an option to repair them, please uninstall all the existing MSVC++ packages.
  • Download a fresh package of installers for MSVC++ from this link: Microsoft Learn: Latest Support VC Redist.
  • Right-click the downloaded file and select Extract All.
  • Reinstall all packages (32bit & 64bit) & then restart the computer.

Let me know how it goes from here. Thanks!

Sameer K

Yes, it works! However, there's another issue—my plan should include
Photoshop and Bridge, but I can't find Bridge in Creative Cloud Desktop.

I believe I got this figured out:  the OP only has the single app plan to Photoshop-   Bridge is not part of the single app plan.

Adobe Bridge is not included with every Adobe Creative Cloud plan. Specifically, it is not included with the single-app plans for apps like Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign. While Bridge is part of the Creative Cloud All Apps plan, you can also access it with the Creative Cloud Photography plan. Bridge is a separate download and requires a Creative Cloud subscription to use.

@Glenn 8675309 Adobe Bridge is free to download and use, once you have an Adobe account, no subscription required

But I can access Bridge from Adobe Cloud Desktop using my desktop computer, but it is not available on my new Surface Pro.

Below is a screenshot from my desktop computer.

@Gerrand30953532bhhv as with some other Adobe apps, Bridge is currently not available for the Surface Pro 11

It sounds that you have the single app plan- based upon your screenshot provided.
