Hi friends! I've recently been creating some gifs in photoshop on my apple silicon machine. I usually do this by importing a video file, cropping and adjusting, then use the Export to Web (Legacy) to create my gifs.
Lately, when I attempt to use a transform (Command + T) command on photoshop, the video highlights as if I'll be able to transform it. Then when I try to adjust the size, the transform command abruptly shuts, returning me back to whatever tool I was using before. If I attempt to do something like Flip Horizontal from the contextual task bar, photoshop simply says it "cannot complete because of an error". However, all the literature on "because of an error" is related to SAVING files, which I'm not doing.
I've tried to use Photoshop v24, same errors. If I try to roll all the way back to v22, which the Adobe literature tells me to try, Photoshop tells me that this version isnt set up for apple silicon.
Help?
