Changing Blurred Background Color

Hello! Can anyone tell me how to change the color of the background into red for example but without affecting the body? I know how to do it with clear backgrounds but not with blurry ones.

If Layer Masks and Adjustment Layers don’t suffice you may have to seprate the subject, decontaminate its edges and remove it from the background so the two can be adjusted (with Adjustment Layers naturally) truly independently.
