Changing the language in Photoshop from English UK to North America

Is there a way to change the language in Photoshop without reinstalling? It is listed in English (UK) instead of North America. Not a big deal, but I'm tired of skipping all words spelled with 'ou' instead of just 'o'. 🙂 (Like honor (honour), neighbour (neighbour).

You can change the language per text object using the language drop down menu at the bottom of the Character panel

Eek! My goodness. Changing the language per text object is extremely tedious.

I'd like to set it one time and have it default to that each and every time thereafter.

I think it sticks - if you change the language subsequent texts (also new documents) remember the setting.

Close all open documents, then change the language in the Character panel.

The setting should stick.

I would like to change my Photoshop, Lightroom and Illustrator to English UK but don't seem to be able to.

Indesign is fine and the menu items spell 'Colour' as an example.

The other apps do not. My CC language is International English

You are right indeed! InDesign is the only one that spells Colour correctly 😆 Not sure if you can change that (other than hacking perhaps...)
