check file integrity from old CDs

I have to check some old PSD JPG TIFF files etc.,

Is there any way to test their integrity? That is if they have errors inside them?

What I'd do is copy them over to the desktop, and open/resave them (to a new folder) in a batch action.

Then look at the results in Bridge.

Just copy the files from the CD to another drive. If the copying is successful, the files are not damaged and there is no need to check them.
If you notice problems during the copying process, use special utilities such as BadCopy to transfer files to your computer. Only in this case you will need try open and resave such files.
