Clone stamp copies the whole image at once instead of the part I chose

Hi, I have started to edit with photoshop today and learned some of the tools.

And I looked at the stamps settings and touched some of them and now when I try to copy a small part of the image it copies the whole image, How can I fix this?

So I actually just reset the tool and it solved the problem

That said, I did not make any changes to the tool prior ot the problem so not sure how or why the tool needed to be reset but it solved the problem
