Using PS 23.2.2 on Windows 11. The aligned function on the Options bar of the Clone Stamp tool is not working as described in manual. When I deselect the Aligned function, it continues to function as an aligned function. Bug or operator error???

Could you please post a screen recording or at least screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, Clone Source, …) visible?
