Up until last week, I had no problem processing my RAW photo files in Lightroom, then exporting to Photoshop for additional processing, then sending back to Lightroom.
Now when I send the file to Photoshop, it looks OK while I process. Send it back to Lightroom and the colors are drab.
I make no changes to the color space or any of the other things that go on behind the scenes in Photoshop, just wondering if anybody has experienced this and has any clue how to correct.
My monitor is not the greatest, but I've never had any problems in the past

Bojan has the correct answer. This is the known bug where the color profile is not correctly embedded in the PSD file. Without a profile, Lightroom treats it as sRGB.
Yes, resetting PS preferences fixes it going forward, but you also need to go back and re-assign the correct profile to the affected files.

Are you definitely embedding the ICC profile in Photosdhop?
I suggest using save as rather than "export" and be sure to check the option to embed profile
if so you may have done that, Perhaps try resetting Photoshop preferences?
(read this entire post before acting please)
Resetting restores Photoshop's internal preferences, which are saved when Photoshop closes.

You may want to backup your settings and custom presets, brushes & actions before restoring Photoshop's preferences.
Here is general info about that: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#BackupPhotoshoppreferences
Before you reset your preferences, in case of future issues, I suggest you make a copy as Adobe may need one to check problematic references.
Quit Photoshop.
Go to Photoshop's Preferences folder
