in this case i can convert only one layer or i need change all the work in 16-bit?

One can combine Smart Objects with different bit depths in one image but one image (and thus the layers in it) can only have on bit depth.

Unless it is represented in the Toolbar it’s not called a »Tool« in Photoshop.

Hi, can you post a screenshot with the full interface of Photoshop, and the Select menu open (are you maybe looking in the wrong menu?) Is it greyed out, or not listed?
Try also to hit ALT+SHIFT+CONTROL+M to get the Edit Menu, (or go to Edit/Menus...) and verify that the eye in the visibility column of Color Range, in the Select menu, is not inactivated.

I uninstalled and installed the photoshop. Now it appears in the Select menu. Before it was like non-existent. Thanks for the reply
