Hi- Colour profile not transferring from lightroom to photoshop. everything is extremely saturated. cannot get ahold of support. HELP!

What version are you on? This was a bug that I thought was fixed a while ago. Yes, you're right, the profile is not correctly embedded in the Photoshop file.
Luckliy, there's an easy and simple fix: reset Photoshop preferences.
You will also need to assign the correct profile to affected files.

What do you mean 'not transferring'? You see the profile in both products or you only see it in one OR you see it in both and the output differs between the two? Everything is extremely saturated where?
You should always test output using good color reference images designed for that task. The color reference images RGB values are such that they are set for output and are editing and display agnostic. Test the output this way and examine for the same color issues so we know it's not your image-specific issues causing the problems:

If you go to edit / assign profile in Photoshop and assign the correct profile does that work as a temporary fix?

When you "transfer" to photoshop, are there any dialogs that pop up?
Usually photoshop will give you a warning if the profiles are mismatched.
You might have to go to Color Settings and turn on warning dialogs for Profile Mismatches.
