This was on TechSpot today. It's starting to get scary. The only thing that put a smile on my face was a list of jobs most and least likely to be replaced by Ai, as the bottom of the list was Interior Designers. Just to clarify, the number one spot was Nurses. Enough said. If you think losing your job is scary, then the last few positions (as in most likely to be replaced by Ai) included surgeons. How do you fancy being operated on by a robot?

That's what I said all along. It's not war or climate that will bring us down - it's AI, eating us up from within.
I've noticed that I can usually spot the ai-generated posts here immediately. The main characteristic is a total lack of subtext. It's just a string of words, spoken with absolutely no facial expression at all. Scary, huh?
I'm convinced that ai-generated imagery will have the same quality, or rather lack thereof. There won't be any soul in it, because it will be single-layered. It'll just show, not tell.. But that's harder to pick out, because many authentic images are already like that. They're the ones I toss when I go over a shoot.
I upvoted Trevor's post because it's a glimpse of what's coming, not, obviously, because I "liked" it...
