I have an image that I want to convert to vector for printing. I have a non-background image and have selected the image as the path, but I am not being offered the current path as an option in the layer/vector mask/.... options. Can't figure out what's wrong here??
Thanks all. Simply re-built the design in vector to avoid the problem. Thought there was a way to convert an image but I guess not.

Photoshop is a raster application.
You can convert from raster to vector using Image Trace in Adobe Illustrator, which is a vector application. There are various settings in the panel, and results depend on the starting image.

Photoshop can't really convert to Vector (it can go the opposite direction; vector to pixels).
You can't print without pixels so all Vector originals need to be RIPPed so I'm not sure why you think you might need a Vector.

Can you post some screenshot with Panels visible to illustrate the issue? Why you want to use path for mask if you need vector for print, that is not clear to me?
