I don't want to add the word "copy" at the end of file names. I made the necessary settings for this. Photoshop no longer uses this word when saving a photo. However, when I prepare an "action", it always adds the word "copy" at the end of the file names. I could not solve this problem so far. Thanks for yor helps.
Your action may be downsampling therefore it has to create a copy not overwrite to be non-destructive.

hi @serkanmutan this has been covered extensively in this forum - set your preferences for legacy save as and do not append copy then rerecord your action - paying attention to the save window.

Thanks a lot Kevin. I do not encounter any problems when I want to save the file manually. When I do this with the "action" command, I am not successful.

That does not work! I spent almost an hour on with tech support. I can make the action (record) with a save as (legacy) JPG. It doesn't add the word 'copy' because I have the setting turned off. As soon as I run the action - on the same file - it adds the word 'copy'
I have tried the save as option, the save a copy option, etc.

BTY, the "as a copy" is greyed out and checked when I am saving it manually but, because of my preference being checked, it doesn't add the word 'copy' at the end of the filename.
And the "so not to overwrite the original" is a lousy answer since the file is a PSD and I am saving a JPG. There is no way for it to overwrite the PSD by saving a JPG.

If I make the photo 8 bit, I do not encounter this problem. Why do I have to do this?

I think the problem is that I forgot that the jpg format will only be 8 bit. There are no problems for now.
