Could not initialize Photoshop the PNG file could not be parsed

Everytime I open Photoshop (version 24.0.1) in Creative Cloud Desktop an error pops up: 'Could not initialize Photoshop the PNG file could not be parsed'.

Please share a screen recording of this behavior. It'll help. Photoshop could be accessing your clipboard that might have a screenshot if you see this error at launch. Try this on Windows:

 

  • Press Window Key + V on the keyboard to open the clipboard.
  • Click on the 3 dots & select 'Clear all'
