Crackling music while zooming in Photoshop

Whenever I zoom in my Photoshop file, my computer audio output (Spotify music in this case) starts crackling. This does not happen when I scroll. Is this a driver bug? I've never had that before.

I'm on the latest PS version (22.3.1) using the latest version of Windows 10 on a powerful PC with an RTX 3080 (GPU acc. on) and 32GB of RAM so there shouldn't be any performance issues.

Go to Preferences > Performance... and uncheck Use Graphics Processor. Restart Photoshop. Does the problem persist?
