Crash de photoshop au démarrage sur MacOS 15.4.1

Community Beginner ,
Apr 28, 2025 Apr 28, 2025

Bonjour,

Hey, @Badatos. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I've moved your post to the Discussions.

I'll need more info to help you figure this out.

Please try to install Photoshop 2025 v26 again and try these steps to get Photoshop to launch:

  • Reset Photoshop following only the second (manually) method from this article: https://adobe.ly/3DwR2qr
  • Ensure Photoshop has the required permissions on macOS: https://adobe.ly/3DyUwsz
  • Go to the following location to launch Photoshop via the terminal.
In Finder > Application Folder > Photoshop 2025 Folder > Right-click on Photoshop .app > Show Package Contents > Contents > macOS > Photoshop —double-click to open.

Share the log of what you see in the terminal window when Photoshop Launches.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks!
Sameer K

Hello Sameer,

Thanks for supporting this ticket.

After installing macOS Sequois 15.4.1, I can no longer open anything in Photoshop.  I just get the spinning wheel.  It doesn't matter if I try to open a file from within the application, or if I try double-clicking on a .psd.  Photoshop just doesn't launch.  I've rebooted, and ran the updates to the latest version of all of my Adobe products.  No help.  I'm running a Macbook Pro M3 Max with 128Gb of memory and 1.7Tb of available space on the primary drive.  So far, Lightroom CC seems to be working fine, but I really need to edit a .psd file.  I have reported the issue both to Adobe and to Apple.

Any thoughts or advice?  I have not yet tried uninstalling/reinstalling the application.  I can tell you that everything was working perfectly on Sequoia 15.4.

@wes_4344 try manually resetting your Photoshop preferences

Remember to back up your settings before doing the preference reset
