Photoshop is crashing every time I try to do anything, like add select and mask layer. I have a massive workload and I cannot do anything. Please help. I have submitted reports and had no response. I have also followed the guidelines. The same. Never had an issue like this before.

My workaround has been to simply uninstall Photoshop 2022 and return to V.22 (2021), which seems to work fine, also having kept all preferences etc.

IF you want to try again with the newer version, DO delete prefs and try again. If that doesn't work, this can at least lead us to a possible cause. Try logging into another account (you may need to make one), still crashing?
Try starting up in Safe mode (hold down Shift Key when booting), still crashing?
You might want to try running a free utility like Onyx: still crashing?
