Create a JPEG Photo

Hi Everyone...just installed the lastest version of PS.

I've checked the Posts, but can't find "How to create a JPEG photo

with a black Circle Border...couldn't find a tutorial video so would

appreciate your help with a step by step solution...thanks

Hi

Can you clarify what you are looking for? You can draw an ellipse shape and format it to have a black stroke, then make it the size you want.

If you are asking how to make an image into a circle, you can't. All images are rectangles, and JPEGs do not support transparency. A screenshot of what you are trying to do would help.

Hi Jane-e....
I have a JPEG photo (headshot) and you're correct...I just want to put a black circle border around it...I already know that you can give me the simple step-by-step solution.
So thanks in advance and really appreciate your help.

• Draw an ellipse shape (Tools panel)
• Format it to have a black stroke and no fill (option bar or Properties panel)
• Size it and position it
