Creating Color swatches from a spreadsheet of Hex colors

I have a spreadsheet that has a column of hex colors. I am looking for photoshop to look at that spreadsheet, fill the canvas with a hex color, save that as a jpg or png (preferably with the hex color as the filename) and then move on to the next hex color. Essentially just making color swatches with the 100+ hex colors I have. 

Is there a known script that can run this or is there a better way to accomplish this task?

Curiously I thought I had seen similar threads before but I could not find them. 

Why do you need images for the colors? 

It always seems suspicious to me when people talk about hex colors without even mentioning the Color Space – are you assuming sRGB?
