I have a teacher ( video ) that is showing me how to download Overlays into my download file in my hard drive, then create a Library , then add different groups , looks like I'm adding a bunch of different file folders that I dropped those overlays into. But now I cannot find them in those groups / files. Does anyone have experience working with these types of issues in PS ?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Hi Janice. What is your workflow when adding the overlays to the Library? Are you first opening Photoshop, and then dragging to a CC Library group? If the overlay has multiple layers, are you combining them as Smart Objects? Using Smart Objects for CC Library graphics means you can have multicoloured vector objects. Perfect for logos
CC Libraries might be one of Photoshop's unsung heros. I love that we can creat a Library group for a specific client, and save fonts, colour swatches, brush presets, logos etc. to that group. You can also access them anywhere with an Internect connection. I find it super convenient.
If you are having problems, I wonder if screen shots might help us understand where your issue might be? Are you trying to find the files on your drive, perhaps? That's not how they work. You can only access them via one of the CC apps. You can view the group contents in a web browser via the three bar menu in the top right corner. That's a nice touch.

good morning Trevor, thank you for responding so fast, I'll do my best to explain what I've done & how I was shown to do this in a training video from someone that uses this all the time & I'm confident that she knows what she's doing, however I have never used these Libraries before so I feel lost, " I am lost " as far as this goes. I bought some overlays from her that she created , it's quite a lot of them. so she told us / me in the video to " 1st " open up the Windows , go down to " Libraries " panel & open it up , so I did that, she then said to go to the CC Library , create a new " Library " & name it, next step was to create a new group for each of the downloaded pkg of Overlays. then she captured al of the items in the first group of overlays & dragged them into the file Group name that corresponded to those overlays, when she dropped them in, you can actually see them opening up in that file. When I did that same process, it appears that nothing was added to my group file. next step she went to the Library file inside of PS, you can see all of the overlays she added to those Library inside of Creative Cloud ( her acct ). But when I did the same thing, I cannot see mine. attached a copy. I attached a copy of both files, not sure if this will help you to see what I did wrong, or what I need to correct. I know I can save these overlays directly on my hard drive, but I'm assuming doing them this way should benefit me in saving HD space, right ? I've never used the Library & don't know how! Thanks
