Crop and straighten + document profile

Hi,

I'm working with Photoshop 23.5.1 on OS Catalina :

- crop and straighten doesn't work

- document profile shows up only when you saved an image

I have PS 23.5.1 on Catalina and both the Straighten tool and the Document Profile work as normal. Can you try resetting the preferences?

Please explain what you actually mean with the help of meaningful screenshots that include all pertinent Panels. 

Where, for example, do you want the Document Profile to show up – Status Bar, Info Panel, …? 

Does Crop and Straighten not work on any images or just not on some?

Please post an example-file.

Only when you saved the file, you see which profle is used.

Apparently the issue has not been fixed yet, but your description is not fully correct. 

Switch to another image and back – is the correct profile listed in the Status Bar?

Please post an image where Crop and Straighten does not produce meaningful results.

The images are apparently not sufficiently separated, they (practically) touch.

I agree that the problem is there is not enough white space between the prints for Crop and Straighten to think that they need to be separated.
