This is a strange issue, that doesn't happen with every image I crop, but often enough to be extremely annoying. Sometimes when I am finished editing an image, I crop it for Instagram and the image darkens, very noticably. It seems to occur mostly when I extend the crop past the image, to create white bars on two sides of the image, but sometimes its just a crop inside the image, not extending beyond the actual image. Even if I merge all the layers and then crop it, it will still darken the image.
I have no idea why it's doing that, having used PS for almost 20 years now, I've never seen this before, and it's only been happening the last 2-3 months now.
Has anybody else seen this issue? Is it something I am missing?
