Today suddenly I got this message You can look at it in my file ... 

I have been using this method for  very long ... but now suddenly something happend !

I have photoshop  CC

I have a Imac 27  MacOS Monterey  version 12.2.1

Is there anyone who knows how to fix this ?

Hi Marha!

What version of Photoshop CC are you using? Did you change anything recently? Operating System? Upgrades?

Have you tried resetting your preferences? Here is a help doc to walk you through it: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually

Make sure that you back up any customized settings if you don't want to lose them.

Let us know if that worked or if you are stil having the issue.

Hi, first of all, have you tried it with other files?

Then, if deleting preferences doesn't work, you can try to full reinstall photoshop with this tool:

What script are you running? Whatever steps occurred before this error didn't produce a selection that can be filled.

Hallo Jeffrey  ! If you look at my file you will understand ... I did NOT try to fill it ... I have the latest update .. and it is 23.2.2

Alright everybody .. Thanks for trying to help me .... But everything is solved now ...

I restarted  photoshop... as I should have done  directly... So now ewerything is back to normal .. Hipp Hurra !
