Whenever I select the crop tool Photoshop freezes and I have to close down via Task Manager

this happened after the update, i did not have a previous problem with this

Are yo still having the problem? I have reinstalled three times now but the prob persists.

I suggest resetting the preferences (see attached) and if that doesn't work try uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop.

Thanks for the advice but I have reset preferences and reinstalled  three times but the problem remains.

I am now having to use LR to crop before editing n PS. So frustrating.
