Cropping a batch of photos so the eyes of face are in the same place in every photo

I have a project idea, but I need some help with the execution to help speed up the process. My project idea is to crop hundreds of selfies I took this year so that my face (particularly my eyes) is in the same place in every photo. Is there a tool that could help me to speed up the process? I wish I could set two endpoints on my canvas. Then on every other photo, I place a point on both of my pupils. Photoshop would then crop, rotate, ship,  and zoom so that my two starting points would move to my two endpoints. Does something like this exist already? Does anyone have any advice on how to approach this project?

I have an idea. I have not tested it, it is just an idea from my head. You can use Insert Path to crop the image. After inserting the path, you can scale and position it, convert it to a selection, and then crop it to the selection bounds.
After inserting the path in an action, you can use the modal control to scale and position it manually, and then let the action continue playing. Is that enough automation for you?

Another semi-automatic approach would be manually creating a path that consists of two points (corresponding to the irises) in each image.

Then one could use a Script to scale/rotate/move the images to line up.
