Cropping tool board line is black

The board line of the crop tool used to be white when cropping, which works for my images with black background. Now it is black line, so invisible while cropping on black background images. Need to change the crop line to white when cropping.

Most  of those overlays are automatic depending on the underlying tonal value.  Below 50% white shows as white, and above shows as black.  Is this what you are seeing?  If not, let us know what Photoshop version you are using, and show us a screenshot of what you are seeing.
