CURSOR lag (not brush lag) when using wacom

ran across this reddit thread and it describes the problem to a T.  basicaly the cursor is very laggy (like moving at half framerate) when not drawing while using my wacom pen.  Turning on caps lock fixes this (but then I can't see the outline of my brush)  I tested this with 2021 and 2022 and it's in both.  I can't test on 2023 because it's unstable with 12th gen intel.  Sigh.  Can someone look into this?

also this behaviour can go away by re-signing into windows or rebooting.

Do you have G-Sync enable? Are you using Windows Ink or are you forcing WinTab on using psuserconfig.txt?

I've tried with and without g-sync (my cintiq doesnt have it, but I turned it off on my main monitor), turned off g-sync in the nvidia control panel, but no luck. I've tried enabling and disabling windows ink, no difference.  I've tried the psuserconfig.txt but that didn't help as well.  What makes it hard to diagnose is that it doesnt happen all the time.  The only thing I havent tried is rolling back my gpu drivers, so maybe that's next.  I'm on the latest NVIDIA drivers.

sorry for the delayed reply.  Yes, latest wacom driver.    I tried restarting the wacom service, but that doesn't fix it.  The only way to fix it I can find so far is to sign out of windows and sign back in.

also, restarting the graphic driver (Win+shift+ctrl+B)  clears up the issue.

after more testing it seems like restarting the graphic driver doesnt fix it.  So far the only sure fix is signing out of windows and signing back in.  Can this issue get some attention?  I sign out/sign back in 5-6 times a day.
