Hi guys,

I am an intermediate PS user and an Illustrator beginner. I have designed a logo in PS, but I want to make it a vector so I can scale it up and down without issue. I have a few questions

What format should I save it in PS to then open and convert in AI?

The logo is comprised of 3 elements on 3 layers (1 text and 2 images) - can i keep the layer structure when I open the file in AI?

What format should I export the file from AI to use in videos (Final Cut) and artworks (PS)?

Thanks in advance!!

Phil

Hi @Phil Personal Acct ,

PSD files offer you the most flexibility to Illustrator.

PDF can be plaxce in FCP, but may pixelate if made larger.

Motion allows for import of native Ai files.
