I don't know what's wrong with Photoshop now, but I can't drag and drop images and I can't use generative fill.

Hey, @Rafaelis. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll need more information to help you figure this out. Please share the system information from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > upload and attach here.
Has this started to happen since a recent update to Photoshop or the Windows OS?
Dragging & dropping can directly be related to a permissions issue. As a basic step, try this:
Go to C Drive > Program Files > Adobe > Photoshop 2024 > Photoshop.exe
Right-click > Run as Administrator
Check if that helps & let me know how it goes.
Thanks!

Reinstall didn't work. Run as Administrator made it worse (now I'm getting the red circle/slash icon). Clicking off "Run as Administrator" puts me back to the beginning. No drag and drop, I'm dead in the water.

I had the same results with Admin mode. I recently updated it to PS 25.12.0 and it seems to have fixed it—either reset something internally, or they fixed a bug.
