Hi guys, can you tell me the optimal size and resolution of the art please! Hardware is medium, which would be more or less comfortable to draw. Thank you.

For halftone images in books/magazines/… an effective resolution of 300ppi is desirable.
For posters/billboards/… a lower effective resolution may suffice because the viewing distance is greater.
The effective resolution is determined by the image’s original resolution and its scaling in the ultimate layout. It is naturally not relevant whether an image originally has 300ppi but it is scaled 400% in the layout.
What kind of illustration are you doing and for which media?
If it is intricate b/w linework for print it might be useful to work at 1200ppi and output 1bit bitmap.
Thank you so much for your reply! I draw logos. I used to draw logos on paper with pencils (oh yes, such illustrators still exist). Then the guys digitised these logos. But now I want to start drawing originally digital logos.

In that case you may want to consider working in Illustrator or, if in Photoshop, use Shape Layers and Vector Masks as much as possible to allow for unlimited scalability.
Yes, c.p. is absolutely right. Logos should be created as vector data, not raster images! Photoshop is the wrong tool for this, you need Illustrator. That's what the "guys" used when they prepared your drawn work earlier.
