Easy transparency dont work in photoshop 204

After I have upgraded to Photoshop 2024 I can not longer use the easy way to quickly make a background transparent. Before I use the magic tool on the background, then I choose the background eraser to remove the background/make it transparency. How can I do this now? I does'nt work to use the "remowe backgrond" I use on pictures.
