I can't update to PS V23. My local IT Team looked at it too (I don't have admin rights) by deleting the Photoshop folder and trying it again. Still having the same issue. Are there any other folders/files that might need to get deleted first? I also tried unsintalling v22 but that didn't solve the problem either.

What Photoshop folders did you actually delete, it's not a good idea to delete folders, programs should only be uninstalled in the correct manner.
You'll need to get your IT team with Admin access to use this tool to completely removed Photoshop and then reinstall

As for the error you're getting take a look here

Hi, tnx for your quick response.
We followed the steps mentioned on Fix error 183 in the Creative Cloud desktop app (adobe.com) where in step 3 it says "Any other folder: Delete or rename the folder.". So we deleted "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2022\" and installing again, without succes.
So you still advise us to use the CC Cleaner Tool?
Tnx
Rick

This is the folder mentioned in the article to delete "Adobe Creative Cloud Experience" there's no mention of this path in the article "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2022\"
So the wrong folder was deleted, you will need to use the Adobe cleaner tool from the link I posted above

Buongiorno,
Grazie in anticipo per la risposta !

Hi,
Tried several options now, including the Adobe Cleaner Tool, which didn't work out either. My IT team deleted all Adobe apps and folders. We did a complete reinstall of Adobe CC. Trying to install the latest Photoshop version again but still the same issues.
Later, when asking some colleagues, we found out that the same issue happens on their PCs as well.
I have a feeling the app Cybereason is blocking the installation. Installation fails at 75%. Immediately you see the Cybereason icon appearing in the task bar. I've recorded it here:
https://360.articulate.com/review/content/c1d5e0ec-1e10-4b7d-932c-10040a4d32ae/review
Our IT team responsible for Cybereason checked all activities on my PC but did not find any strange behaviours.
Local IT is not allowed to turn Cybereason off due to our policy. Therefore I am now back to the previous version of Photoshop, which works ok for me. Just want to make you aware of this.

The publisher of that security tool needs a bug report filed yesterday.

Hi @Jumpenjax tnx for the reply and mentionind a possible fix It's the Adobe CC app, not XD.
But as mentioned above, I keep using the old version which works ok for me. Don't want to spend much more time on this. I can always install the package on my private PC if needed.
I've sent the issue to our IT Workforce Team so they can check out further without bothering me 😉
Tnx
