I'm also getting error message: Could not complete your request because of a program error. My GPU is Radeon HD 5700 Series.

Adobe have rendered some old and not so old GPU's useless with this update, it actually starting happening with version 21.2

Hi! If the issue was with Ps 2021, he fix is out: update to Photoshop 22.1.1 as it fixes the issue: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/fixed-issues.html

If the update does not appear in the CC app, go to help>check for updates.

I am on Photoshop 22.1 and it is still happening to me. "Photoshop cannot complete your request because of a program error." The workaround is to remove the Adobe Photoshop settings and it works fine for a week then I need to repeat the process again. Been occuring for the past couple of months.
