Just need a hand? Trying to send photos from LR to PS2022 and I am getting this error message,

Could not open “_DSF1876.RAF” because of a disk error.

I am really new to photoshop so not sure if I have set something up wrong in PS or LR.

Any help would be great.

Hi there,

Sorry that you're getting an error message "cannot open because of a disk error" in Photoshop while editing the image from Lightroom. We're here to help.

Which version of the applications are you using? Do you see this issue with only particular file formats?  What is your macOS version? Where are the images located?

Could you please check the steps mentioned in this article https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/edit-photoshop-command-missing-photoshop.html and see how it goes?

If that does not help, please try going to the System Preferences of the macOS, then Security and Privacy, and add Photoshop to Accessibility under the Privacy tab. Also, grant permissions to Photoshop 2022 under the Files and Folders section.

Let us know if it helps.
Regards,

Ranjisha
