ERROR: Opacity/transparency in gradients does not work anymore (PS 25.5.1 and PS Beta)

When you add a gradient adjustment layer, you can not maintain the opcacity/transparency for the colors in a gradient. I tried using the standard "Foreground to transparency" gradient, but the transpareny is not processed and does not have an effect on the picture the gradient is applied to. Obviously this is a mistake.

You can still maintain transparency in the gradient tool, but when you save a gradient there and try to reuse it in a gradient adjustment layer, transparency does not have any effect.

This error shows in the latest PS version, but also in the latest PS Beta.
