error opening Tiff files

I installed Photoshop from Creative Cloud . When i a trying to open a tiff file i am getting error saying " Could not complete your request becuase it is not the right kind of document. Version is 23.0 release.

Previous version i was able to open the tiff files.

I did try the previous version too but still giving me the same error

Hello, the Photoshop team has just released version 23.0.1, one of the fixes adresses TIFF files opening, see: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/fixed-issues.html

In your CC application, go to Help>Search for updates if you do not see it yet.

Please report if it fixes your problem.

Hi, what is the software that generated the Tiff file? did you try the 23.0.1 update?

Hi i am using Trimble Application Master (Ortho Vista) to generate the tiff. But in the previous version i was but after installing the latest update i am facing this issue and even after the latest version where it fixed all the issues. I still am facing this issue
