Errore disco di memoria virtuale

E' da giorni che Photoshop non mi permette di effettuare operazioni dicendo che i dishi di memoria virtuale sono pieni. Non ne capisco il motivo, poiché ho selezionato un hard disk da 1T come disco di memoria principale. Sembra non riconoscerlo.

We need more information to address this. How much data is already on that 1T disk? How is it attached to your computer? Can you please attach screen shots, so we can see the actual wording of the error?

The disk has a total space of 910Gb, i/I still have more than 700Gb free. It's attached to the PC by USB 2.0.
