Even the basics stopped working with Photoshop 23.5.0

I don't even know really where to start. Yesterday I updated to the latest 23.5.0 and even the basics no longer seem to work. Just by one day use I already noticed these:

- Copy merged randomly stops working

- New document does not automatically set canvas dimensions by clipboard (I need to manually select it every single time)

- Document tabs and other UI elements randomly disappear and I need to restart photoshop to get them back

- Text tool still can freeze the app for two years even on a high end computer.

Does Adobe even test their software or are we the beta testers?

My system is:

Windows 11 (latest)

Ryzen 9 5950X

RTX 3080

32GB 3600mhz

Hi,

Sorry to hear you're having problems.

Have you tried resetting Photoshop preferences?

Hi @inc sorry to hear this.

Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere:

Restore your preferences using this manual method:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually

Does it work correctly?

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thank you,
